Why Did You Become A Volunteer?
I wanted to volunteer for the Firth Rural Fire and Rescue Department because I have always believed in supporting the community that supports me. After 25 years in the military, I realized how much I missed the camaraderie and purpose of being part of a dedicated team. Serving others during their toughest moments feels like a meaningful way to give back. Most of all, I wanted to keep my neighbors safe.
- Jason, Firefighter
