Why Did You Become A Volunteer?
When wildfires spread across Lancaster County in October of 2022, I knew I needed to find a way to help. I went to the Firth Fire Station and helped families and the community distribute food and water. At the end of the night, I was handed an application and asked to join the team. And the rest is history! A short time later the department paid for me to attend Firefighter 1 Certification training. I am proud to be able to serve this community every day. - Chad, Firefighter
