Burn Permits

 

 

 

​1. Verify the wind speed will not exceed 15 mph and that we are not currently in a red flag warning.

2. Click the button above to download the form. Save it to your desktop:

3. Once saved to your desktop, complete the applicable sections on the permit and save the changes on your desktop.

​

4. Send an email to: firthfireburnpermit@gmail.com and attach the completed form.

​

5. If there is a delay in hearing from us, please notify us to let us know the permit has been emailed by messaging our Facebook page.

6. We will review the permit and add our electronic signature, then email a copy back to you. Once you have received the email back with a department members signature, your permit has been approved.

Please note: We will only issue a burn permit up to 12 hours before the burn is to take place. On the day of the burn, verify the wind does not exceed 15 mph before staring your burn. The fire must be attended at all times, and sufficient means available to control the fire.

We do offer paper burn permits based on department member availability to arrange a meet up time.
